About Tealyra

Discover the best Galaxy of Teas

A tea company built on a simple passion for tea

Tealyra brings together tea lovers of every kind, from the curious first-timer to the seasoned connoisseur. We carry high-standard loose leaf teas, matcha and teaware, and our team creates its own blends to bring something new to your cup.

For us, Tealyra is more than a tea company. It is our way of enjoying life, and we are proud to share it with tea drinkers around the world.

Our journey: from Canada to the world

Canada is our home, and it is where the Tealyra journey began back in 2010. It started with a love of good tea and a wish to share it, and over the years it grew, one blend and one customer at a time, into a store that now serves tea drinkers around the world.

Today our team still selects, blends and packs with the same care. Orders ship from our warehouses in Canada, the USA and Great Britain, so customers across North America and the UK get their tea quickly, and we deliver to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and far beyond.

A wide selection of tea and teaware

Raw and ripe pu-erh, black, Chinese and Japanese green, yellow, oolong, delicate white, matcha, rooibos, mate, herbal and fruit teas, and even kid-friendly caffeine-free blends: we carry close to 300 loose leaf teas.

Explore our loose leaf tea, matcha and tea bags, plus more than 30 types of our own teaware in different colors, sizes and styles for the perfect cup.

High standards, cup after cup

We hold every tea to a high standard. We keep our selection fresh, sample new crops, retire teas that no longer impress us, and keep creating new blends.

Our exclusive line includes rare finds such as small-batch, limited-edition white tea from Japan. We get excited every time we discover something new, and we love sharing it with you.

Tea for every ritual

Tea opens a door to cultures around the world: ceremonies in Japan, China and India, afternoon tea in the UK, and tea traditions across the Middle East and Africa. We honor the classic ways with whole aged pu-erh cakes and the tools to prepare Japanese matcha properly.

We also know that not every day leaves time for a full tea ceremony. That is why we offer practical brewing tools, infuser mugs, teapots and tea makers that make good tea an easy part of a busy life.
