Description
Green Rooibos – Light, Caffeine-Free Unoxidized RooibosRed rooibos has grown hugely in popularity in recent years, but we'd love to introduce you to Green Rooibos! Grown in South Africa, it's made from the same plant as traditional red rooibos, but it's left unoxidized — similar to how green tea is made from the same plant as black tea. Because it's unoxidized, green rooibos is more demanding to produce, which makes it a little pricier than red rooibos. The reward is a lighter, fresher tea with a delicate, grassy character. It's naturally caffeine-free, making it a wonderful herbal choice for any time of day. Tasting Notes
Why You'll Love ItGreen Rooibos is quite different from traditional red rooibos — lighter, fresher and more delicate. It's naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins, so it's never bitter, making it a lovely alternative to green tea for evenings or caffeine-sensitive tea lovers.
How to EnjoyEnjoy it plain for a delicate, refreshing cup, or add a touch of honey and a slice of lemon. It's lovely iced and makes a great base for your own herbal blends with mint, citrus or fruit. Light, fresh and naturally caffeine-free, Green Rooibos is a gentle discovery for herbal tea lovers. |
