Samurai Matcha Ceremony – Hand-Picked Ceremonial Matcha

Hand-picked in the traditional manner by skilled and experienced tea farmers, Samurai Matcha Ceremony hails from Japan's Obuku valley. It is one of the few remaining teas still farmed and harvested by hand rather than mechanically, a traditional method that produces a distinctive green tea of unmatched quality for discerning tea lovers all over the world.

When prepared, Samurai Matcha provides a smooth and mellow cup that is deep in flavor. It whisks up effortlessly, making it an easy and delicious way to enjoy whole green tea leaves.

Really loved it! Strong flavor with only a hint of bitterness (which I like), beautiful color and aroma. I'd recommend, in general, that Tealyra specifies which cultivars are present in their matchas, I'd welcome that.

I have been drinking matcha since I was a teenager and I have tried many different kinds of matcha and brands of matcha. I have to say that Samurai Matcha Ceremony is my favorite and best matcha I have ever had! It is a wonderful deep green and the favor is smooth with no bitterness. It tastes so good paired with a good milk and stevia! I will keep coming back her for my matcha for years to come!!!

[FR] This was my first time ordering from Tealyra, and I’m beyond impressed. I’ve tried several matchas before, always on the lookout for one that balances quality and price—and I think I’ve finally found it. The flavor and color are outstanding, and at this price point, it’s hard to beat. I highly recommend it for matcha latté lovers (though I haven’t tested it in baking yet)!
