Description

[EN] I went for this tea for my evening cup of tea cravings with a little pick-me-up. I should say this is one of my preferred ones in the last order I made. It is has toasty and warm mouth feel yet smooth. The leaves are nicely rolled that a teaspoon full is enough to brew a strong flavor for a cup.

[EN] Slightly more roasted flavour than the Miyazaki Hojicha sold here, with less sweetness and leaning heavily towards the nutty palate. nice, yes but not my preferred hojicha. absolutely no issues with the tea itself however.

[EN] I know the superior is probably "better" but I much prefer this hojicha for it's savoury richness. The first wash is almost like soup. It survives three washes with the final wash hinting at the qualities of the pre-roasted tea. It's a great all day drinking tea, but it shines with dinner.
